If you live in Bath you've most likely heard of ChaiWalla and its delicious street food. The small but mighty hole-in-the-wall restaurant is located in Kingsmead Square and gets especially busy during lunch when all the surrounding businesses are craving an Onion Baji Wrap (definitely my favourite).
Back in 2019 I had the pleasure of developing two labels for ChaiWalla's original condiments range.

The colour themes are based on the colours of the ingredients and the vibrancy of Indian patterns and colours. I based the typography of the label on the type used on the signs outside the restaurant as well as some of the illustrated elements.

The first draft of this label was created as a watercolour painting and then digitally painted in Adobe Photoshop to get a more even and precise painting which could be edited further to fit the labels.
